(Thursday, August 28, 2025 | New Castle, Ind.) – Henry County REMC (HCREMC) will host a free, public Solar Energy Seminar on Saturday, September 20, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. in the Community Room at HCREMC’s headquarters. The interactive session will feature a “Solar Basics” presentation in partnership with Hoosier Energy and a panel of local homeowners who have installed solar on their properties. Attendees will hear candid, firsthand insights about the benefits and challenges of residential solar.
“Neighbors learn best from neighbors,” said HCREMC Project Coordinator Chelsi Jackson. “This seminar brings together local homeowners to talk openly about what worked, what they might do differently, and how to evaluate whether solar is a good fit for your home.”
The Solar Energy Seminar is open to the public regardless of who their electric service provider is. Registration at the link below is requested.
