


(New Castle, Ind. – March 17, 2026) Henry County REMC is proud to announce the recipients of its 2026 Scholarship Awards, recognizing six outstanding local students for their academic achievement, leadership, and commitment to their communities.
The 2026 scholarship recipients are:
Each student will receive a $1,000 scholarship, which will be awarded upon successful completion of their first semester at an accredited college or university.
These scholarships are made possible through Henry County REMC’s Operation Round Up program. Through this initiative, cooperative members voluntarily round up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar, with the extra change supporting community-focused programs such as scholarships, charitable organizations, and local assistance efforts.
